About Cress Creek Garden Club
The Cress Creek Garden Club was founded in 1975 by a group of neighbors and has grown to include members from Naperville and many nearby communities.
The club has grown to 110 members whose interest in gardening ranges from beginner to very experienced. At any level of experience, we have many members who are passionate about gardening and helping our community. As members attend meetings, workshops and gardening activities, new friendships are always being formed.
Our purpose is to encourage the beautification and general
improvement of Naperville and the surrounding communities; to
stimulate gardening and artistic interest; to develop horticultural
knowledge; to support conservation; to provide scholarships for
students; and to support local charities.
The club is organized and operated exclusively for purposes to be
beneficial, charitable, educational and useful to the community
within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code
Affiliated with Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc. and The National Garden Clubs, Inc.
